The Center for Research in Economics (CEREC) is the economic research center at Facultés universitaires Saint-Louis, Brussels. CEREC was founded in 1984 and has been growing since then. The Members of CEREC develop their research, applied and theoretical, in various fields of economics, with a special emphasis on the scope for public intervention in market economies. The main fields of research are macroeconomics, economics of education, regional development, industrial organization and environmental economics.
