Association Belge de Linguistique appliquée
1. The ABLA-board consists of three clusters: Management, Communication, and Research Networks.
• Members are elected for a period of three years.
• They can be re-elected once.
2. The ABLA-board:
• Decides on the policies with respect to the ABLA-objectives for the coming three years;
• Has the policies approved by the ABLA-members at the yearly meeting.
3. The ABLA-board members
•The members of the board realise the objectives as formulated in the policy document.
• They report to the Management three times a year.
4. The Management consists of president and vice-president.
• They call the meetings and decide on the agenda.
• They confer with the members of the board whenever required.
5.There is a maximum of three contact meetings a year unless important business requires otherwise.
6. The ABLA-clusters decide on how they meet (virtual or face-to- face).The board-meetings take
place at a location decided by the president.
7. ABLA uses a website and Newsletter as main communication channel.
